Searching Pubmed Online
This training session will introduce the PubMed database. An overview of searching by keyword and subject term, search techniques and saving results will be provided.
Learning Outcomes
- Develop familiarity with accessing PubMed
- Understand the differences between PubMed and Medline
- Conduct a literature search in PubMed using MeSH subject terms, keywords and limiters.
- Learn about useful search techniques such as truncation and phrase searching
- Learn how to create an account on PubMed to save results and searches
- Learn how to email and/or export results.
