The aim of this workshop is to develop an understanding of the functionalities and limitations of the Cochrane Library and teach the skills required to use Cochrane for a systematic search.


RCSI 2 CPD credits; NMBI 2 CEU


Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the Cochrane Library, its content, search page, functionalities and limitations
  • Develop a search strategy in the Cochrane Library using controlled vocabulary (MeSH) and Boolean logic
  • Understand the format of a Cochrane Systematic Review(SR)
  • How to save searches and export results from the Cochrane Library
